It’s All About the Guests in Taranto
For the new season, Taranto Cruise Port launches a larger and improved cruise terminal with the aim of enhancing hospitality and encouraging the development of cruise ship turnaround activities, thus increasing the number of embarkations and disembarkations.
The new structure allows the Company to improve the tourist experience with a better Guest Information Center, a flagship service provided by Global Ports Holding’s cruise terminals, and to introduce new stores, which will boost the promotion of the territory and of local products.
Costa Cruises will be the main cruise company for the new season and will allow a substantial increase in the number of cruise passengers visiting and departing from the city of Taranto.
Thanks to these investments and the strengthening of the relationships with the Authorities, Taranto is increasing its attractiveness to travelers from all over the world. Taranto has been selected as the Destination of the Year at Seatrade Cruise Awards and has been developing as a cruise destination through collaboration of all stakeholders, with modern facilities and a range of services for visitors. The port is located near the historic city center and is within walking distance of many popular tourist attractions, including the Taranto National Archaeological Museum, the Aragonese Castle, and the Cattedrale di San Cataldo.
